Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 (fully booked)
RHYTHMIC MOVEMENTS, EMOTIONS AND INNER LEADERSHIP
A main topic of this course is emotional reactions during Rhythmic movement training. The rhythmic infant movements are crucial for the emotional development of the child. Children with motor handicaps may not get sufficient stimulation of the limbic system and may therefore fail to develop self assertion. In such children the rhythmic movement training will cause emotional reactions when the limbic system is stimulated. Other causes of emotional reactions during RMT such as emotional trauma and food intolerance will also be dealt with. The course addresses how to work with movements to get in touch with emotions and how to stabilize them when they threaten to take command.
The executive functions of the prefrontal cortex and how to stimulate the prefrontal cortex with rhythmic exercises in order to develop a balance between thought and feeling is another important subject of this class.
The course also deals with reflexes that especially affect our emotions, the Fear Paralysis and the Moro reflex.
The course is a necessary supplement for anyone who wishes to work with rhythmic movement training.
