The Karaoke Healing Show

Thomas Ahn

Thomas Ahn, natural health professional and vocal coach, discovered his great passion for music at an early age. Via overtone singing he learned more about the rich facets of his own voice. After training as a sound and voice healer (among others with Nestor Kornblum and Chris James) he eventually invented the “Karaoke Healing Show”.

This interactive performance allows him to enthuse people of differing backgrounds with music but also to get them into touch with their own power and the often unused potential of their natural voice.

Welcome by IAK & DGAK

Sat 11.10 – 12.50 h | Günter Haffelder, DE

New developments in brain research

Günter Haffelder

The Institut für Kommunikation und Gehirnforschung situated in Stuttgart uses a method of EEC spectral analysis developed by Günter Haffelder which makes it possible to gain a deeper insight into functional processes of the brain.

This tool is used for researching and diagnosing learning disorders and other functional impairments of brain processes. The EEC spectral analysis method can show the individual interrelations of information intake and processing as well as emotional aspects. The endogenous rhythm of the brain can be influenced by means of the neuroactive music CD developed by the institute. By listening to the neuroactive CD which is based on the individual results of the EEC spectral analysis and thus tailored to the individual needs that have been diagnosed, individuals can optimise their skills or talents. The activities of the institute also focus on overcoming cerebral damages caused by apoplexy, dementia, Parkinson’s disease or intracranial injuries.

During the lecture you will gain insight into the diagnosis procedure of the institute as well as new insights gained through its brain research. You will also learn about possible ways to overcome individual problems.

Günter Haffelder, director of the Institut für Kommunikation und Gehirnforschung, is a physicist and psychologist. After working in leading positions in the research and development sector for many years, he became a freelance management trainer for companies in the IT industry as well as supervision trainer. In addition to working in his own psychological practice, Günter Haffelder founded the Institut für Kommunikation und Gehirnforschung which is meanwhile internationally recognised and networks with other institutes.

Stimulating the Healing Process – A Change of Perspective Creates New Possibilities

Michaela Hespeler

„The spirit is the master, imagination the tool, and the body the plastic material“ – Paracelsus

Self-healing is the ability of our body to heal external and internal injuries and diseases. The Body itself is regulating, repairing and regenerating. It is a natural process which can be therapeutically supported, if needed.

As a facilitating companion we can offer a different perspective in case of imbalances and initiate a self-regulation process. „No one knows better what the system actually needs than our clients’ own body-mind-soul unit. “

Demonstrations on the subject of cervical spine discomfort (e.g. whiplash, movement restriction, neck tension) illustrate this approach.

Michaela Hespeler is a freelance consultant, kinesiologist, a cordial and competent instructor, fascinated by the various possibilities of healing. For 15 years she has been advising and assisting her clients in her own practice in Germany and Switzerland. She creates an individual approach based on knowledge, experience and intuition. Over the past years she has been teaching at the IAK RESET, Kinergetics and BNT as an authorised instructor trainer of Philip Rafferty.

Following the Body – Following the Soul

Honouring the Inner Wisdom of ourselves and our Clients

Sandy Gannon

The lecture will discuss the tendency to consider and interpret evidence and why this is not always appropriate. We will look at the body as “a thing of wild magic” (Mme Blatvatsky) and “the only reality is the [energy] field” (Einstein). Evidence of intuition will be explored in intellectual and practical exercises and participants will leave with a new way of beginning their session.
Sandy Gannon is a Touch for Healther. She has been a full-time practitioner and teacher in the field of complementary therapy for over 30 years. Through this time, she has added a diversity of skills to the energetic “touch” with which she began and now draws on many healing modalities to effect energy change in her clients and students. Among all the wonderful tools she feels blessed to use, Touch for Health, Feng Shui and Aura-Soma remain her true loves.

Sun 9.00 – 10.00 h | Anne Keller-de Wild, CH

The five Temperaments

How do the four Temperaments fit into the five Chinese Elements?

Anne Keller-de Wild

The four temperaments are the “glue” between the heredity stream and the individuality of the spiritual soul. The heredity stream is bound to space and time. With our brothers and sister we share the same parents, and yet, we are not replaceable with them. Each of us sees himself as an individual. For this awareness the four temperaments play a crucial role. The tetrad (a four) is here manifest, concrete, but if we go a step further into the principle of the quintuple, it has the ability to move and to develop. Combining the four temperaments with the five Chinese elements helps us to understand better both in private and professional how to understand ourselves better and the people around us.

While I did research on temperaments, I had my breakthrough as I combined the two systems, the four with the five. I created a set of temperament cards to gain more understanding for my clients in their stresses and life difficulties. Since each temperament has both strength and weakness and never occurs in a pure form, you can use the cards to clear up deadlocked situations.

This presentation gives you an insight into the work with temperaments and the importance to develop our own individual life and to respect all other human beings – with humor, lots of examples and easy understandable!

Anne Keller-de Wild: “I was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1971, and three years later moved to Switzerland. Mother of four children.

Since 1998 I’ve been working as a naturopath doctor and kinesiologist in my own practice. 2015/16 I did a full year study in anthroposophy at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland. Connecting anthroposophy in my kinesiology work is a wonderful thing to do. July 2016 I started my studies in Biography Work and Social Art in Spring Valley, NY.”

Sun 9.00 – 10.00 h | Gabi Göppel-Kranz, Liechtenstein

Deepened senses and new perception

How do we change our deepened senses with flow points?
How do the new frequencies affect our perception?

Gabi Goeppel-Kranz

Our senses constitute interfaces or connections to our environment. Apart from the senses known to us, other senses influence our perception as e.g. the emotional sense, the sense of compassion, the sense of expression or deep sensibility (proprioception).

The frequencies of the senses play a key role. The flow points affect the frequency settings of our senses. The new energetic-sensory input allows for a changed perception and an expanded consciousness.

You will learn how to integrate the senses in a completely new way into your kinesiological work and thereby change the perceived world.

Gabi Göppel-Kranz has been working in her own kinesiology practice in Liechtenstein for 20 years. Since 2002, more and more “flowing points” became apparent in her work with clients, showing new approaches which she combined to develop a new system. This system is being expanded continuously due to new insights and experiences. Gabi Göppel-Kranz is married and has three daughters.

Sun 10.15 – 11.15 h | Irmtraud Große-Lindemann, DE

How basic trust informs our life

The exciting path of our brain development

Irmtraud Grosse-Lindemann

“Life-long learning” is a nightmare scenario for many. Are we really doomed to learn Latin vocabulary or the use of the latest technology for the rest of our lives? In her lecture, Irmtraud Große-Lindemann explains our journey that begins with basic trust and leads to finding ever new kinds of basic trust through learning. In other words: brain development on our way to our true personality.

Irmtraud Große-Lindemann: After her degree in data processing, Irmtraud Große-Lindemann switched over to remedial education and became a teacher for children with special needs. After quitting her teaching job in 1992, she set on a new course of life with kinesiology during which she developed courses like Neuro-Meridian-Kinestetik, Begleitender Kinesiologe IAK and Lerncoach. Sun 10.15 – 11.15 h | Amy Choi Wai Ming, China

Introduction to Ming’s Mirror Method

Listening with your authentic self

Amy Choi

Ming’s Mirror Method works with conscious and sub-conscious information of the client by mirroring and moving with the client in the vibrational field.  The facilitator communicates with the client through her whole body.  He/she is guided by all cognitive senses, mainly by proprioception and intuition.  An “intention” is not necessary at the beginning.  As the session unfolds, the client becomes clearer of their balancing theme throughout and after the session.

Amy CHOI Wai Ming from Hong Kong is a kinesiologist, balance facilitator and a course author.  She is a pioneer in integrating Chinese Qigong and Kinesiology, and the developer of a balancing method called Ming’s Mirror.  The courses she authored, mainly Qigong Movement Balances Series and the Authentic Self Series have become an integral part of a work called Qinesiology. Amy has taught in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Japan, United States, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Sun 11.45 – 12.50 h | Marco Rado, Italy

Embriology: The Scientific Language To Describe Meridians

Marco Rado

Specialized Kinesiology is strongly based on the Muscle-Meridian relationship. But Kinesiology, as all the different branches of Energy Medicine, has a great difficulty to be accepted by the Academic realm. Meridians and Chakras are described with an ancient knowledge and wisdom, made of metaphores, allegories, images, figures and symbols, that are completly not understood by scientist and modern physicians. To be integrated into nowadays scientific reality, Energy Medicine must find a common language to share with science.

In my opinion, this common language, is Embriology, the science that studies the development of the embryos and fetus. Embriology can perfectly describe the meaning of Meridians and their functions, maintaining the definitions and description made by Traditional Chinese Medicine, but opening up new understandings of the interelationships and physiological functions of the Meridians.

Marco Rado is a physiotherapist, who has started studying and work with Kinesiology 25 years ago and, after studying many different approaches, has specialized in the USA and Germany in the branch of kinesiology called Applied Physiology, (which he was the first to introduce in Italy). He has deepened his studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Manual Medicine, like Osteopathy and Facial Manipulation. Since 2003 he has developed his own classes, integrating modern science and eastern traditional knowledge. He teaches his classes in Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa and Russia. Actually he’s a Board Member of the International Association of Specialized Kinesiologists (IASK) where his responsable for Research and Statistics, and he’s also a Board Member of the Italian Association of Specialized Kinesiology (AKSI) where his responsable for International Relationships.

Marco has took part as speaker to many international conferences and is well known to be able to integrate scientific compcepts and theories with the Traditional Energetic knowledges, presenting them in a very clear, simple and comprehensive way.

Touch for Health: A Solution for Hidden Epidemics

Balancing symptoms of disease before they become medically-recognised disease states

Wayne Topping

While Western medicine is straining under dramatic increases in conditions such as obesity, Type-2 diabetes, autism, and Alzheimer’s, there are other epidemics, not recognized medically, that are creating much discomfort and helping to contribute to the those conditions that medicine is focused on. What is needed is education. Touch for Health is in a good position to provide that education. We will focus on hypoadrenia, hypothyroidism and knee problems.

Wayne Topping was born in New Zealand and graduated from Victoria University with a PhD in geology. He became a Touch for Health Instructor in 1977 and a Biokinesiology Instructor in 1980. Wayne became an IKC faculty member for the United States in 2000, moved to England in 2010 and is now IKC faculty for Russia and Hungary. Wayne has founded and developed 19 courses in Wellness Kinesiology, written several books and has taught extensively in 23 countries.

Sun 15.30 – 16.30 h | Dr. Dominique Monette, Belgien

Hyperton-X or Core Kinesiology

The kinesiology of the axis, of the core

Dominique Monette

Hyperton-X, created in the ‘80s by Frank Mahony (one of the first kinesiologists), balances our body around our axis; the physical one, the cranio-sacral system and the spiritual one, our vertical connection between earth and sky. A group of muscles play a fundamental role on the physical axis, the diaphragm being the most important one. We will, during this presentation, learn the basic theoretical principles of Hyperton-X and apply these on a few muscles (or groups of muscles). You will then be able to balance certain important muscles on yourself.

Dominique Monette, M.D., mother of 2 sons – Patrick & Xavier – and founder/director of the IBK (Institut Belge de Kinésiologie) since 1986. IKC TFHS Faculty since 1989. Former IKC PS Dean and former IKC TFHS Dean. Instructor in several kinesiology branches, teaches mainly TFH, Hyperton-X and SIPS in several European countries. Founder of Corps Energy, a new IKC recognized Kinesiology branch. Specialized in emotional and stress management (teaches and trains EFT & TIPI practitioners and gives TRE Introduction). Translator English-French. Likes to share her enthusiasm.

Sun 17.00 – ca. 18.30 h | Dr. Hong-Jae Lee, Korea

K-Cure: The 4 Pillars – a Method of the Future

The possibilities of Korean Magnetotherapy

Hong-Jae Lee

Get to know the fascinating possibilities of the K-Cure method. Learn at firsthand how the method was developed and what is the motivation and vision behind it. The K-Cure method combines the old knowledge from So Yang acupuncture and magnetism and is used within the context of quantum healing.

Dr Hong-Jae Lee, Korean acupuncture expert and founder of the K-Cure method.

Following an old family tradition, Dr Lee learned the art of So Yang acupuncture at an early age. Later he followed a calling to India where he practised for more than two decades. Motivated by a deep-felt urge to help others, he treated thousands of people for free who otherwise would not have had access to medical care.

Dr Lee frequently prescribes himself phases of inner quiet in buddhistic meditation which not only provide him with the strength he needs as a healer but also serve as a means to receive inner guidance. This contemplative state was also crucial to the development of the K-Cure method which is a synergistic combination of old So Yang knowledge and the physical laws of magnetism and is used within the context of quantum healing.
Dr Hong-Jae Lee lives and works mostly in Korea and on the Philippines. He has set himself the task of passing on his valuable knowledge founded on many years of experience.

Thus far, Dr Hong-Jae Lee‘s brilliant K-Cure method is unique and cannot really be compared to other methods. He has never given a talk or course in Europe before. Therefore, we feel deeply honoured that Dr Hong-Jae Lee will present his methods for the first time in a lecture at our International Kinesiology Conference 2017 and will also give a course where he will teach participants his method.

Energetic Joint Anchors

The idea of how the aura is anchored to the physical body

Geoff Leury

Energetic Joint Anchors are part of the aura and are associated with each joint of the physical body. They have a special function; they anchor the aura to the physical body. Also, the unique design of Energetic Joint Anchors has practical applications in ‘hands-off’ healing. This presentation consists of two parts. Part one is a brief description of how Energetic Joint Anchors anchor the aura to the physical body. Part two is a practical demonstration of the Eplangetic healing interaction to show how Energetic Joint Anchors are applied in ‘hands-off’ healing.

Dr. Geoffrey Leury trained as a Chiropractor and teacher, and holds a science degree from the University of Melbourne. He began practicing as a ‘hands-off’ healer more than 25 years ago under the mentorship of the late Dr. Trevor D. Creed D.C., the founder of Chiron healing. He is the originator of the idea of Energetic Joint Anchors and the founder of Eplangetics and Joint Anchor Technique. He has a private healing practice in Torquay on the Surf Coast of Victoria, Australia.

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) as a Catalyst for Educational Improvement

Jackie Lysaght

Instructors and students are doing amazing teaching and learning work in kinesiology classrooms. However the evidence is often kept private and if our work is not documented it can disappear in the moment. SoTL encourages us to open up and go beyond excellent and scholarly teaching by making it visible, open to peer review, and available for others to build on. I will present examples of my recent kinesiology research studies and we will also explore how we could use SoTL to start a conversation and discussion about teaching and learning in kinesiology.

Jackie Lysaght is the Principal of Harmony Holistics Kinesiology College in Nenagh Ireland, where she has been running a Diploma in Kinesiology for the past twelve years. She is a committee member of the Kinesiology Association of Ireland, currently serving as Immediate Past Treasurer. She started her career with a Degree in Financial services working for twenty years in banking, before training as a Kinesiologist. She is a Touch For Health, Wellness Kinesiology & Phytobiophysics Instructor. She is passionate about teaching and in 2016 she obtained an MA in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from University College Cork.

Tests for fight/flight, TMJ And fascia

Philip Rafferty

This presentation shows accurate tests for fight/flight, TMJ and fascia imbalance. If a client is in fight/flight they will be dehydrated and magnesium deficient – no exceptions. No new client has ever passed the TMJ test. Together the fascia and TMJ corrections balance hydration, magnesium absorption and hundreds of hypertonic muscles. I would like a volunteer with fibromyalgia or arthritis to show how effective these corrections are for chronic pain.

Philip Rafferty is the founder of Kinergetics, RESET and BNT. He specialises in fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, chronic pain, arthritis, TMJ and trauma. He has taught kinesiology for over 35 years in 20 countries and presents at national and international conferences. Philip teaches his workshops and sees clients internationally. He shares his time between Tasmania and Ireland.

Alexandra Tobar

What is a trauma and what is a stressful experience? A trauma is not based merely on inner conflicts (What should I study? Which job should I take? etc.), even if such questions can cause a considerable amount of internal stress. A trauma always originates in real outer events that are associated with a heavy amount of stress. In order for a traumatic experience to become a trauma for the individual, a dynamic has to occur which literally brings the brain into a “tight squeeze”.

Victims, affected persons but also witnesses and the perpetrators themselves can be overwhelmed by stimuli which seemingly cannot be processed. The information processing system of the brain (i.e. the individual self) is so flooded that the individual has the impression that “nothing works anymore” or that “it’s all over”.

Let’s not forget here that this system is nothing less than a self-protection mechanism. The survival of the individual has priority.

Important memory systems of stress management as well as an effective de-stressing method – which can also be used with dissociation – are among the methods presented here.

After finishing her psychology studies at Salzburg University, Alexandra Tobar trained as a clinical and health psychologist and took advanced training courses at Zentrum für angewandte Psychotraumatologie (ZAP) in Vienna (incl. EMDR). Following a comprehensive kinesiological training (LEAP, NK) as well as a training as psychotherapist she is now working as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in the Salzkammergut (Klinikum Vöcklabruck) and independently as kinesiologist in her own practice in Salzburg. She also supports the professional training of kinesiologists by teaching at the International College of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology.

SpiraliK – Development of Consciousness

A Concept within the Complementary Therapeutic Method of Kinesiology

Dominik Schenker

SpiraliK links the 5 Phases with the 5 Principles of Spiraldynamik® to a unified movement and awareness model. The resulting dynamic perspective combines physical, mental and emotional everyday experiences on a common plane and allows substantial insights on current development processes.

Dominik Schenker: “My different movement experiences as an athlete, sports instructor, physiotherapist, practitioner of Kinesiology and Spiraldynamik® motivated me to bring together the different approaches to a unified model. Since 1996 I am on this way and happy about many new insights and beautiful experiences that I could discover.”

Primitive reflexes and osteoarthritis

How to prevent and heal osteoarthritis of the hips and knees

Harald Blombeg

Osteoathritis of the knees and the hips is caused by  wearing of the cartilage due to muscle tensions around the joints. These muscle tensions are caused by active primitive reflexes and when these reflexes are integrated the development of osteoarthritis will be prevented. Another cause of osteoarthritis is acidity and lack of phophates. By phosphate supplement the osteoarthritis will heal.

Harald Blomberg is a Swedish psychiatrist who has taught courses of Rhythmic Movement training and reflex integration for more than 25 years. By combining reflex integration with diet and food suplements he has devloped a method thar is helpful in many conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, pain of muscles, back and joints. He is also the author of several books and booklets translated into six languages.

Discover your skills and learn as if by magic

A playfully light expedition

Hans-Jürgen Lenz

There was a time in your life when you learnt an amazing lot without even being conscious of. Without a special purpose, you explored and discovered the world in which you moved around, learning quite a lot of things just by doing and imitating, driven by your childlike curiousness and because you just felt like discovering the world.

In this workshop, you will experience how to take up this playful way of learning and what it is really about.

Christian Maier-Straube sees himself as a designer of “playing spaces” in which the natural joy of learning can be experienced anew. As a coach and trainer he has been helping people to move who want to get themselves and others into motion. Learning is to be taken back to the roots and will become again what it once was: an exciting and inspiring adventure. www.innergame.de

Exploring Color, Sound and Other Vibrational Tools in TFH

How to add vibrational tools to a TFH balance

Robin Brown-Frossard

Touch for Health is a wonderful tool for accompanying people who want to reach their full potential. Traditionally we use our hands or those of the person receiving the balance to effectuate the physical contact in our work (the “touch”). Considering the human body as an energy body, we can widen the tools used for our “touch” to include other vibrational sources, such as color, sound, essential oils, mudras, … all the while respecting the TFH protocol.

Robin Brown-Frossard is a kinesiologist and IKC TFH Trainer living in French-speaking Switzerland. TFH is a large part of her daily professional work. She explores many energy approaches in her personal life, and has added specific vibrational tools to her TFH balances. She also explores chakras and the use of auras in her work as a kinesiologist. Being a big fan of figure-8s, she has developed an IKC workshop using this tool.

Emotion and Stress

Where we put it and what can we do about it

Hugo Tobar

As kinesiologists we deal with people that have many unresolved emotions on many levels. In my research into the development of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology I have been interested in why we do things unconsciously. In this paper I will explain the physiology of stress and why when we are in the exhaustion phase it is easier to store emotions in our unconscious reservoirs.

When we are free of stress, we are free to engage with people using our `social engagement system’ which enables us to participate in society. In short term stress the fight flight system puts us into either fear or rage, but we are aware of it and can look at it after it passes. In long term stress cortisol and the nervous system supress our emotions into either our muscles or our fascia. This is due to the state of compensation that we need to overcome long term stressors. Our emotions are supressed for another day while we deal with the long term stressors. In the exhaustion phase of stress the unmyelinated vagus nerve inhibits the cortisol and the nervous system. The emotions are stored in deep unconscious reservoirs in the bone and teeth. These issues are our deep spiritual and lifelong challenges that we face in our life.

I will demonstrate some methods of accessing the subconscious and unconscious emotions and strategies for helping the client understand their subconscious and unconscious emotions. After all the power is making your unknown issues known.

A slide into better times

Burnout meets Kinesiology

Brigitte Michaelis

The aim of kinesiology is self-efficacy. That is precisely what people need when previously used solution strategies don’t work anymore.

Different living conditions lead to different symptoms, therefore I distinguish – depending on living environment, habits, social conditions, etc. – between different categories of the burnout syndrome. Example cases from my practice ensure a lively presentation.

Dr med vet Brigitte Michaelis, veterinarian, natural health professional, kinesiologist DGAK, systemic therapy and supervision, hypnotherapy according to Milton Erickson. Focus of activity: process-oriented kinesiology, systemic therapy, supervision and coaching, energy psychology, hypnotherapy, TRE. Main objective: Integration of different mnethods –  as e.g. in the self-developed seminar series „Balance mit System“ (systematic balance); lecturing at different institutes – www.systembalance.de

Teaching life skills by way of movement

Sandra Schiffmann

Already in the 1990ies, the WHO adapted the concept of “life skills”. These “life skills” – self-awareness, critical thinking, problem-solving – are intended to enable people to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The workshop offers a mixed bag of theory, movement and ideas for playing so that everybody can gain first insights into the concepts used on different levels.

Sandra Schiffmann is a primary school teacher. As imparting knowledge is not her only priority, she enriches her lessons with opportunities for stimulating movement and play. This has resulted in diverse possibilities for promoting life skills.

The Sedona Method: incredibly simple, incredibly effective!

Maarten Klatte

For more than 20 years the focus of healthy lifestyle has been on nutrition and exercise. However, an important component that we know about our genetic expression: what we believe, think and feel has a repercussion on our health.

There are other possibilities than repressing, splitting, or projecting beliefs, patterns and emotions. Life also can be seen as a series of small choices.
These choices can have a measurable and positive effect on vitality and wellbeing. Really becoming aware of what we believe, think and feel makes the difference if we don’t want to impede our own happiness and success.

The Sedona Method offers us 5 simple ways to get rid of the emotional ballast. The book about the Sedona Method has been published by the VAK in 2006. Since then the Sedona Method has been circulating as an insider tip in the German speaking countries. Now finally there will be the first Seminar in Germany with translation into German.

„The truth is simple. If it was complicated, everyone would understand it.” — Walt Whitman

Maarten Klatte MD: After studying medicine Maarten Klatte MD. participated in scientific research at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. The study was an inquiry into the influence of the human will on the healing process. In 1983 he started a practice in Nutritional Medicine including various methods to reduce stress and enhance wellbeing. He is cofounder and president of “Nederlands Genootschap voor Orthomoleculaire Oncologie”(Dutch association for orthomolecular oncology), a non-profit organization that studies non-toxic cancer treatments.
Maarten Klatte is married, has four children and four grandchildren. Organic gardening is his passion for over 40 years.
